“Reg” = share of registered voters by party. “Cast” = share of ballots cast so far by registered party. “Gap” = cast share − registration share (positive = that party is casting a larger share of ballots than its registration; i.e., over-performing its registration in turnout). Only party-registration states with both figures are compared.
